ARAS is committed to helping animals in need of safe environments and people in need of solutions. Bernese Mountain Dog Club of the Rockies We are a group of people who love Bernese Mountain Dogs. Our club was founded in October, 1987. It is an official regional club recognized by the national breed club, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America (BMDCA). Our membership includes people who are involved in breeding, showing, and all areas of training, as well as those whose Berners are cherished family members. Colorado Beagle Rescue Colorado Beagle Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt, tax-deductible organization operated by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of the Beagle breed. Colorado Greyhound Adoption CGA is a non-profit organization (501c3) devoted to placement and adoption of greyhounds. Foster programs are available. A 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted, neglected, abandoned and abused St. Bernards. Colorado Sheltie Rescue We are a Colorado non-profit corporation. Our mission is to take in abandoned, lost, and unwanted Shelties and find them new, loving homes. Colorado Shih Tzu and Maltese Rescue The Colorado Shih Tzu and Maltese Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt orgnization, a member of All Breed Rescue Network, and is a Denver based rescue that was formed in mid 1999 to aid in the overwhelming amount of abandonded and stray dogs in need of assistance. Denver Cooperative Extension CSU Denver Cooperative Extension provides information and education to the public in four areas: 1) Urban horticulture and natural resources, 2) Family and consumer sciences, 3) Food Stamp nutrition education, and 4) Urban 4-H and youth development.Our educational work is done in the community through: workshops, trained volunteers, partnerships, fact sheets, telephone consultations, group presentations, newspaper articles and more. Denver Samoyed Rescue Denver Samoyed Rescue is part of the Denver Samoyed Association, Inc. and was formally established in 1993. Denver Samoyed Rescue is a member of the local All Breed Rescue Network and is recognized as an active Samoyed rescue by the Samoyed Club of America. Doberman Rescue of Colorado Doberman Rescue of Colorado is a non-profit/humane organization founded by Chuck Vaile, and staffed by volunteers that take in lost, abandoned, unwanted and neglected Doberman Pinschers, as well as those from families who can no longer take care of them. Friends of Horses Rescue & Adoption We are a horse rescue and adoption nonprofit corporation based in metropolitan Denver, Colorado. We place many foals and horses in adoptive loving homes including PMU foals, retired thoroughbred racers, and a number of horses being auctioned for human consumption. In our first year of existence, FOHRAA has placed over 150 horses and foals in adoptive homes and rescued almost 200, the majority of whom were slaughter bound. Great Dane Assistance League GDALI was founded in June 2002 by a group of individuals who are concerned, for the welfare of Great Danes. We are a group dedicated to the advancement of the Great Dane breed with respect to proper medical care, socialization, education and ownership. High Country Basset Hound Rescue and Adoption Service Colorado Basset Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for abandoned and abused basset hounds. Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue HO-BO CARE is a non-profit corporation registered with the State of Colorado. Our small group consists of people who care for the homeless, abused and unwanted Boxers, may they be puppies or 6 year old adults. HO-BO CARE tries to find permanent and caring homes for these animals.  Mile High Weimaraner Club The Mile High Weimaraner Club is a club in good standing with the Weimaraner Club of America. The club meets approximately 8-10 times a year. We hold AKC Field Trials and Hunt Tests along with fun days and other dog-related events. We have members that are active in the Show Rings and Agility Trials. We also have a local rescue committee that is associated with the Weimaraner Foundation Fund Rescue Committee (formerly WCA Rescue Committee) and the Colorado All Breed Rescue Network.
